Sql Developer/Ssis/Heavy Database/Chicago/Plano

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working closely with the technical leads and Product Owners to deliver support data, analytics, and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform
• Responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC design, build, test, deploy support

Requirements:

• Significant (8+ years) experience in Microsoft SQL Oracle database programming and development
• Significant development integration experience in Microsoft database modules like SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
• Significant development integration experience in triggering execution mechanism such as Autosys batch programming
• Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, compression techniques to optimize data-size and performance
• Significant experience in designing and optimizing data flows across multiple ETL processes
• Strong development experience in end to end CI/CD pipeline tools such as Ansible, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Datical Radical
• Strong experience in database optimization techniques using indexes, partitioning, stats refresh management, memory/CPU utilization analysis
• Strong experience in integration with Big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop

Desired Skills:

• Experience in upgrading regression testing database versions
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• Experience working with Agile methodologies

Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26
