Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- QA and test internal programs/queries and their output
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights as directed
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, data models, and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data as needed
- Participate in internal team meetings to better understand business processes

Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL programming language
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse concepts
- Experience with ETL processes and 3rd party API connectivity
- Familiarity with SSMS and SQL agent
- Strong ability to QA your own work and the work of others
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
- Knowledge of Java and Python programming languages is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in SQL development and database management. The ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. This is a 100% in-office position. We are only considering applicants that are in the Chicagoland area right now and are prepared to commute to the office everyday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
