The Saint Alphonsus Sports Medicine Program is looking for a passionate and motivated Sports Medicine Clinic Coordinator to work with our amazing Sports Medicine and Orthopedic team at our clinics across the Treasure Valley.
Position Summary & Highlights

• This position will support in the development and growth of the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Sports Medicine program while maintaining efficient workflow operations in an ambulatory outpatient Sports Medicine Clinic.
• This position is key in development of the coordination of patient care in collaboration with the providers and administrative team

• Our highly skilled, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons and interdisciplinary clinical teams have received national acclaim for their quality care. They offer patients both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for their problems.

What You Will Do

• Effectively and efficiently oversee the coordination of the physician clinic aspect of the Sport Medicine Program including building relationships with Sports Medicine/orthopedic providers and staff; coordinating with clinical leads regarding clinic and staff schedules, clinic workflows, and clinical processes/procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new colleagues, as well as maintenance of clinical competencies for Sports Medicine staff.
• Facilitate the management and processing of referrals into the clinics from independent marketing pathways such as schools, youth organizations, referring MDs, PTs, and community or outreach ATCs.
• Facilitate community services such as Concussion program outreach, organizing community events, screenings, and education.
• Work closely with STARS Sports Medicine Coordinator and Sports Medicine Supervisor on collaborative activities.
• Able to provide clinical services consistent with the Certified Athletic Trainer as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, master's degree or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Athletic Training Certification required.
• Minimum of three years relevant and recent experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
