Split Role Medical Assistant/Front Office

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Candidates must be able to work early morning and late evening hours, along with alternating Saturdays at either of our two office locations (Des Plaines or far Northwest Chicago).

Required experience:

Medical Assistant > 2 years

MUST be experienced in Venipuncture/Blood draws and Vaccinations

This position must be able to perform the following job duties including, but not limited to:

· Greeting and rooming patients

· Taking vitals

· Collecting medical history

· Administering vaccines to all ages

· Performing blood draws with a straight needle

· Process blood and place in lab lock boxes

· Perform EKGs

· Provide meticulous documentation into EMR system (Epic experience a plus)

· Front office reception duties (cross training will be provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
