Who we’re looking for: A highly motivated Speech Therapist who enjoys "thinking outside the box" and using the evidence to get the best outcomes for kids and families in our birth to 3-year old early intervention programs!
What you’ll do with PPT: Our Speech Therapists work with children with a variety of ability levels to help them maximize their language and communication skills. Speech therapists with proper training and experience also have the opportunity to work with families and children with feeding difficulties.
The caseload for this position is within our birth-3 year old early intervention program. We work directly with families in Schuylkill & Lebanon Counties, and also provide multi-disciplinary evaluations in Berks and Lancaster Counties in their home and community settings. You can customize your caseload, hours and geographic catchment area to meet your needs! There is also the potential for virtual sessions in some cases, if that is of interest, but this position is primarily an in-person position in home and community settings.
Skills PPT therapists possess:
- Experience working with children, their families & IFSP/educational teams
- Strong ability to use the evidence to provide effective therapy services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology to streamline daily work, such as electronic documentation and billing with PPT, which makes a therapist's life easier!
- Strong understanding of how children learn language differently, such as Gestalt language processing

Salary: Dependent on experience, starting from $75.00 per hour
License/Certification and Experience Requirements:
- PA Speech & Language Pathology License (Required)
- Certification of Clinical Competency Required - Potential for CCC supervision for the right candidate!
- At least 1 year experience working with children
