Various LocationsJob Description: Responsible for direct intervention with students to treat speech, voice, fluency and language disorders and disabilities through collaboration with teachers, parents and other related service providers under the supervision of a Master's degree-level, ASHA certified speech and language pathologist.
Job Qualifications: Minimum requirements: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Speech and Language Pathology, Speech-Hearing Science, or Communication disorders; A minimum of 150 hours of clinical interaction under the supervision of an ASHA certified Speech Language pathologist; Limited license to practice speech and Language Pathology; Experience in the public schools is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include developing speech and language treatment plans and designing and implementing activities to address treatment plans under the supervision of a district Speech Language pathologist. Consulting and providing ideas to teacher and parents regarding speech and language development and disorders, providing direct therapy and instruction to students, creating and developing original instructional aides which are relevant and enhance the efeectiveness of teaching, developing a variety of teaching and instructional strategies, and preparing classroom for instruction

Employment Information: 2024-25 school year; 194 days; 40 hours per week
