The Training System Specialist supports and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS) Administration through curriculum development/assignment, data reporting/management, and system maintenance. Along with supporting our LMS Training System Specialist also maintain and create new reports in our Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and Power BI reporting systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Enterprise's Global Training Matrix.
- Course catalog maintenance (creating, consolidating, developing, and maintaining).
- Develop, implement, and maintain LMS standards and related documentation including process flows, procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct data mining to better understand customer profiles and utilization results.
- Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS.
- Create and update training requirements in LMS.
- Generate reports.
- Perform data monitoring tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for general administrative duties (invoicing, filing, stocking office supplies).
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- College degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience is required. Experience with learning management systems and online learning content is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in developing relationships and supporting Operations, Maintenance and Support Services personnel.
- Knowledge of online learning and web-based applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and/or Power BI is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA/DOT/DOI rules, regulations, and standards is a plus.
- Must be resourceful and have ability to work with all levels of the organization and have a passion for helping/supporting others.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Must have strong computer skills and outstanding organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in a support role and/or the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Must demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability, punctuality, and commitment to the role, team, and company.
- Ability and willingness to arrive early and/or stay late periodically is required.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment that demands initiative and responsiveness.
