SUMMARY
Serves to coordinate and provide timely, consistent, and accurate information to designated target audiences. This position coordinates STP’s Visitor Program, which includes conducting and assisting with tours for approved visitor groups. Serves as a point of contact for specific issues/activities. Supports the Communications Manager in planning and developing materials, and communicating with key stakeholders related to Media Relations, Community Involvement, Corporate Donations and Corporate Events.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or Business Management. (Preferred)
- Without a degree, 5 years’ experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, or other closely related area will be considered.
- Experience not required.
- Texas Driver’s license (Required)
- Coordinate and provide timely, consistent, and accurate information to designated target audiences.
- Coordinates STP’s Visitor Program - conducts and assists with tours for approved visitor groups.
- Assist the Communication Manager in management of STP’s Corporate Donations program and Corporate Events.

EDUCATION

- Without a degree, 5 years experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, print or broadcast media and/or corporate communications will be considered.
- 2 years strong writing, editing, and/or publishing. (Required)
- 2 years in coordinating and participating on complex cross functional projects. (Required)

- Assist with providing detail-oriented support as needed to the Corporate Communications team and the development of various products as directed by the Communications Manager.
- Accept ERO position as needed.
- Accept outage position as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
- Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs; ascending/descending stairs; sitting for extended periods of time; and spending considerable time in front of computer monitors.
- Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.
- Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
- Normal office environment with some trips to the plant.
- Travel may be required.
- Fast paced, high pressure work environment.
- Hybrid/Remote – Due to the nature of the work, this position provides the ability for a hybrid work schedule between site and an alternate work location. Alternate work locations require adequate technology and that a solid ergonomic setup is present. Note: Work schedules are contingent on business needs.
