Maintains and provide Osteopathic Student Government officers, Learning Community officers, and student organizations officers with current organizational by -laws.
Oversees and advises over 50 student organizations at the COM. Collaborates with Medical Student Affairs in the oversight and advisory of student groups. Assists with recruitment and retention of student volunteers and develops training and assessment for student leadership. Supports participation for its contribution to educational and personal development. Provides support and coordination for the AACOM TOUCH program and interfaces with AACOM as needed for osteopathic-specific student opportunities.
Provide fiscal oversight, support fundraising efforts and review requests for travel funds and plans for student groups. Advise student groups on marketing, administration, and logistics for programs and events. Evaluates and assesses appropriate risk management policies and issues of campus safety for student programs and events.
Monitors project timelines and identifies issues. Prepares letters, correspondence, and reports. Plans and coordinates events. Develops, coordinates, and implements assigned processes. Oversees website. Provides assistance with and interprets policies and procedures. May coordinate and supervise program activities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Up to 20% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
