ROLE AND PURPOSE:
To support the Human Resources function of AISD by providing Customer Service to internal/external clients.
NOTE: This position is ESSER III grant fund dependent. ESSER III grants are currently available for the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 school years.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Experience:
• General office skills
• Proficient typing, keyboarding, telephone and file maintenance skills
• Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing
Special Knowledge/ Skills:
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) including good telephone etiquette and Customer Service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Provide exemplary Customer Service to all district employees on first level human resources issues
• Complete verification of employment requests
• Complete the on-boarding process during new hire orientations
• Respond to incoming human resources email and the Customer Service queue
• Process records requests, change of address requests, change of name requests
• Work extensively with the TEAMS district program
• Prepare reports and perform other related administrative duties as required and/or needed
• All other duties as assigned by Director or Manager
