This position will support project teams in the development of electrophysiology catheters and/or related accessories at Biosense Webster. Project support includes sourcing engineering material for new product development, management of the supply chain for new product material, control of inventory, and design control for new product development build activities from onset to submission.
Essential Responsibilities:
Under general supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Locate sources for engineering materials and services, obtain quotes and place orders for material and services.
- Lead/ supports the execution of work orders.
- Manage the supply chain for new product development materials.
- Manage inventory of new product development materials.
- Maintain design control for new product development build activities.
- Documents and updates the project budgets.
- Support efforts to drive cost reduction and supply chain optimization in new product development.
- Supports project team/ technical projects and initiatives that focus on cost improvement, business continuity, process excellence to enable product development activities.
- Support communication activities regarding R&D initiatives.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably related to the position
- A minimum of a University/Bachelors Degree
- In depth understanding of product structure (Bills of Material, routings, etc.)
- In depth understanding of new product development cost drivers
- Ability to participate in a technical team
- Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to utilize office computer programs proficiently
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $70,000- $112,700
