SalaryResponsibilities:
- Translate written documents, articles, web content, and other materials from Spanish to English with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure that the tone, style, and meaning of the original text are preserved in the translation.
- Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and readability.
- Collaborate with team members and other translators to maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines.
- Research unfamiliar terms or concepts to ensure accurate translation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with native or near-native fluency in both languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a translator, with a portfolio demonstrating previous translation work.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both Spanish and English.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness to accurately convey cultural nuances in translations.
