LinQuest has an opportunity as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Systems Data Management Specialist to the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, Acquisition Delta - Space Domain Awareness.
As an SDA Systems Data Management Specialist, you will report directly to the Government CM/DM Manager and provide Advisory and Assistance Services across a wide range of Support tasks across the SDA enterprise portfolio of sensor and command and control (C2) systems. Your Advisory Services to the Government include developing and evaluating processes and tools to track and ensure integrity of the documentation being presented and provided for multiple weapon systems.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Industry Standard GEIA-859, Data Management.
- Interface with the program’s technical staff, finance team, contracts team, and other personnel to ensure management activities, schedules, assessments, and reports are timely and accurate
- Assist the Government in preparing compliant program planning and execution of deliverables
- Experience using MS Teams for document collaboration
- Experience and proficient in editing documents using MS Word to include Track Changes
- Analyze and mitigate risks that arise in the performance of program and recommend solutions for improvement and efficiency
- Responsible for generating, logging, maintaining, filing, and tracking all Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) and delivering them to the appropriate subject matter expert (SME)
- Provides weekly CDRL status on behalf of the Government
- Oversees Contractors internal and external suspense’s for CDRL deliveries
- Attend, initiate, and support meetings and tag-ups to support the Enterprise
- Provides quarterly CDRL status for the Program Metrics Report
- Reviews and edits Government program documents before being released
- Author of the CDRL Process Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and various contracts CDRL Instructions
- Perform various research for senior and functional managers to include historical performance and current statuses
- Assist the SDA Chief Engineer and Contracting Officer where and when needed
- Provide support to Government/Contractor meetings as needed
- Familiar with guidance found in the Tongue and Quill
- Other duties as required/requested by the Government and within scope of the contract
Required Skills/Experience:
- US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- 8 years of experience in Data Management, 4 of which must be in the DoD, OR, BA/BS degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, 2 of which must be in the DoD
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Offices products to include MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
- Experience developing Data Management processes to control change to technical documents
- Data Management experience in an Acquisition agency in the Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or an Intelligence Organization
- Experience developing briefings for management
- Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience as a DoD Data Manager or the equivalent position with a major defense contractor
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and databases
- Knowledge of or experience with the Space Surveillance Network, its systems and mission
- Experience in Project/Program Management
- Previous experience as an A&AS contractor
Compensation:
- The salary for this position ranges from approximately $55,000 to $65,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
