As a busy spa that is constantly growing, we are seeking a part-time Spa Receptionist / Wellness Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of A Better Me Spa. We are looking for someone that is thoughtful, passionate about holistic health, and has a basic understanding of the treatments / services we offer.
We are flexible with the hours needed, but are mainly looking for someone that is interested in evening OR Fridays. Weekend (Saturdays) shifts are a must :) - If you only want to work Saturdays, we'd also love to have you!
Tue & Thu: 3:30pm to 7:00pm
Fridays: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Sat: 8:30am to 3:00pm (REQUIRED)
Currently, total hours available vary from 12 - 16 hours per week and potentially more hours starting May 2024.
Position Requirements:
+ Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.
+ Ability to be efficient and productive in a luxury, fast-paced environment.
+ Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
+ Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
+ Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
+ Must be a team player.
+ Must have weekend (Friday & Saturday) availability.
+ Familiarity with Spa Booking Softwares (Mangomint is a plus!)
Responsibilities:
+ Maintain a safe and beautiful space by cleaning in between sessions and manage the treatment rooms. As well as taking care of in-house laundry.
** If you are not comfortable cleaning up after clients (ex: wiping down shower floors), then please do not apply for the job.**
+ Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance record.
+ Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments.
+ Manage daily spa operations to ensure that A Better Me Spa is delivering the best experience possible to every client.
+ Check in and check out clients, walk guest back to their service rooms, give new client orientations and answer questions.
+ Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation.
+ Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
+ Must be able to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
+ Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
+ Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
+ Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Experience Requirements:
+ Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience
+Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as Customer Service representative
+ Minimum of 1 year of employment within a Spa environment preferred
Compensation + Benefits:
+ Starting salary at $12 per hour during training, and gets pushed up to $14 per hour after training based on performance. You also collect tips received from the guests that leave them, which is often.
