SPA ATTENDANT
As part of the Operations team, the Spa Attendant is responsible for all customer service and housekeeping tasks. They must possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Must be able to self-direct and be a part of a motivated team in a fast paced environment.
The Remedy Spa Attendant will be passionate about wellness, customer service and is an exceptional team player with a positive and professional attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Display a professional, positive and respectful attitude towards clients and coworkers at all times
- Maintaining the laundry for the spa including picking up laundry from various points in the spa
- Ability to perform a variety of cleaning duties for the spa including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, dishes, cleaning the bathrooms, and taking out the trash
- Adhering to daily cleaning schedules
- Maintaining client areas ie: the lounge, locker room, and retail areas
- Attend and participate in departmental and spa staff meetings
- Assist with special projects and events as needed
- Present a polished and professional image at all times
- A sensitivity to unnecessary waste of product and a willingness to act to reduce waste
- Completing side work and closing duties as directed by Department Head or Manager
- A genuine team spirit and flexible attitude
- Ability to exemplify The Remedy’s Core Values in every interaction with clients and coworkers
- Adherence to all Attendance and Punctuality policies in the handbook
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have schedule availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in hospitality a plus
- Position requires a great deal of mobility, including walking, and lifting up to 30 lb
