Qualifications
Education
- RDMS and/or RVT certified Required within 1 year of hire
Work Experience
- One year experience in scanning Abdominal, Vascular, Gynecology and OB/GYN Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures Required
- Basic computer knowledge. Required
- Knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment. Required
- Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machines and IVAC pumps. Required
- Knowledge of computer stored images Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Required within 1 year of hire and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
