Job Description
The Christ Hospital is seeking OB Sonographers with at least 2 years' experience. This position is responsible for general diagnostic medical ultrasound operations, including staff assignments and front-line customer service representation. The Lead performs all duties appropriate to the Registered Diagnostic Medical sonographer and is technical liaison to the medical and administrative staff. This position promotes and maintains high quality efficient ultrasound diagnostics through leadership, knowledge, strong work ethic, and a commitment to our customers. Primary responsibilities include assisting practice leadership teams with administrative tasks, training of new and current team members as needed and will also be utilized as back-up sonographer to cover patient care as needed. Sonographer works closely with leadership in efficiently using department resources and staffing to volumes. Schedules add-on and emergency exams for same day requests following good customer service standards. We have a mix of OB and GYN patients. Scans are done on a Phillips Machine. We use EMR EPIC and AS for Documenting.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in high risk or office-based OB/GYN ultrasound diagnostics and procedures. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
