Solutions Architect

Located in vibrant Midtown Sacramento and rated as one of Sacramento's Best Places to Work, Rhombus is looking for a Solutions Architectwho will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative security solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our sales team, clients, and technical staff to understand client requirements, develop customized security solutions, and ensure successful implementation of Rhombus products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security systems, excellent technical expertise, and outstanding communication skills. 

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored security solutions
• Assess client facilities and design comprehensive security systems, including access control and surveillance
• Develop architectural diagrams and project plans, offering technical guidance throughout
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to select appropriate hardware and software components
• Stay updated on physical security trends, evaluate products, and assist in proposal development
• Participate in client meetings to demonstrate proposed solutions and gather feedback
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams, and post-implementation support

What We're Looking For

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a solutions-focused role, preferably in SaaS/B2B
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with clients, sales team members, and technical staff
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity of physical security, including video surveillance and access control, and related technologies is a plus
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP, CCNA) is a plus

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
