Job Description:
Maintain responsibility for serving as a Sherpa 6 Solutions Architect. Provide expertise during all phases of a given project. Assist with all aspects of the customer program including technology subject matter expertise, systems architecture designs and recommendations, program reviews, and organizational representation in various forums. Technologies consist of tactical RF systems and networking, mobile compute platforms, mobile device management, Android operating system, and HW (Hardware) and SW (Software) installation and integration for tactical warfighters.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Solutions Architect and Tactical Mobile Device Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Develop relationships with key tactical mobile device program leadership at Nett Warrior.
- Serve as a Tactical Network and Mobile Systems Integration SME for the customer.
- Serve as SME Next Generation Tactical Communications (NGTC) APM.
- Directly responsible for planning and implementation of software/hardware integration activities for the Field Computing Device-Wearable program IAW the direction from the APM.
- Monitor product and technology advancements in the mobile hardware, software, and tactical network areas and provide recommendations relative to program objectives and timelines.
Requirements: Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years in solutions/systems architect role.
- Proficiency in current Microsoft desktop and Azure server operating systems.
- Configuration, support, and troubleshooting expertise in computer, server, and network environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for resolving issues with complex systems.
- Familiarity with TAK and Mission Command Systems, along with experience in fielding Army systems.
- Proficiency in Linux, Android/iOS mobile device operating systems.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Understanding of the Transport and Network layers of the OSI Model.
- Knowledge of network encryption methods, both hardware and virtual.
- Familiarity with mobile device management tools and policy management.
- Experience in supporting complex acquisition problem-solving, considering Cost, Schedule, Performance, and Risk factors.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools, data management, analysis, standards, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Expertise in Network Operations Convergence technical design, methodologies, project, and process.
- Cloud infrastructure and architecture knowledge.
- Proficiency in managing multiple networks and integrating them.
- Ability to troubleshoot data flows via TCP and UDP protocols.
- Understanding of firewalls, ports, and protocols.
- Experience in deploying and troubleshooting containerized services.
- Ability to review logs and analyze data.
- Understanding of MANET radios and multicast networking.
- Familiarity with VPNs, DNS, and scripting (Linux OS).
- Knowledge of Windows administration is a plus.
- Understanding of Active Directory, x509 public key PKI, client and server certificates, and certificate authorities.
- Must be a US citizen and pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Experience:
- CISCO certifications a plus
- Military experience a plus
- Senior Level Network Operational Planning
- ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server operational experience
- Knowledge of PRC Tactical Radio FoS (Family of Systems)
- Knowledge of the Watchtower MDM
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise with ATAK and Nett Warrior
- Knowledge of Radio-over-IP (ROIP)
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
