Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to the team, including training in the DEACOM software, ancillary systems, and the department processes
- Be the go-to resource on the team for understanding and documenting technical business requirements, whether for internal or external customers.
- Travel on-site at the request of the Technical Solutions Manager to address customer requirements directly.
- Be an expert at utilizing technical solutions such as SQL, DEACOM Scripting / Calculations, DEACOM Triggers, EDI and other technical or programming related tools to fulfill and deliver solutions to technical business requirements.
- Be an expert at utilizing reporting solutions within DEACOM ERP to provide printed and on demand data from the software.
- Conducts end user training as required.
- Act as a leader regarding the department's objectives, goals, and tasks.
- Work directly with Product Design to ensure that tasks that are a good candidate for system enhancements are transitioned to the enhancement path.
- Develop and maintain internal tools that are separate from DEACOM ERP.
- Completes other consulting projects as required.
Requirements
- Advanced degree, certification or equivalent professional experience required.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain related commercial software products preferred but not required. We will train you!
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, client server applications, and web technologies.
- Windows operating system experience, working with a variety of hardware configurations and networks.
- Strong desire to learn the DEACOM ERP solution and implementation methodology.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills.
- Experience utilizing a programming, scripting or calculation language to solve problems.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
