Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Austin team to help us build the quality and test strategy for our new coffee robot. If you love software, robots, and coffee (not necessarily in that order!), then this is a great opportunity for you! You will be working with a growing team of software engineers, Software Test Engineers and system engineers to evolve our quality processes and manage the quality of the software that powers the fully autonomous robotic coffee kiosk.

Software Test Engineers are part of the software engineering organization and serve the critical role of quality stewards on software delivery teams whose mission is to deliver high-quality software that provide great value to users.

Responsibilities:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be a steward of quality, providing testing expertise to drive the design and implementation of effective testing strategies in an agile environment. As a key member of the cross-functional software delivery team, you will be responsible for a range of testing activities including implementing, and maintaining test suites, executing manual and automated testing.

Your role:

• Support the test strategy.
• Coordinate the manual testing plan
• Collects and provides metrics on quality process, test results for manual and automated test suites, and organizes them into reports for stakeholders.
• Recommends improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of software delivery teams and reduces technical debt.
• Partners with software engineers, product owners, experience designers and support engineers to solve problems and help improve the overall quality of the user experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2 years of Software automation testing development.
• Working experience in software development preferred
• Experience working in microservices architecture and testing restful API's
• Working experience with Software Test tools and processes
• Working knowledge of delivering products
• Working knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools like Jira
• Ability to communicate with teams working in various locations.
