Cimarron is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to support the Axiom Space Commerical Space Station program in Houston, TX. This is a remotework opportunity (i.e. work from home).
Key Duties:
- Help to develop and perform test plans and tests, including RF, EMI, Radiation, etc.
- Streamline EEE parts approval and ordering.
- Research and evaluate special test equipment.
- Work closely with avionics design and development teams to provide feedback based on test results, contributing to the improvement of avionics systems design, reliability, and performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
- Ensure avionics testing activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- 20 or more years of related experience.
- In-depth experience creating test plans for aerospace programs.
- Prior experience supporting an Axiom program.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
