Your mission
Few spaces are going to be upended by AI as much as analytics and marketing. The roots of our company have always been in bringing data to business users, often times the biggest bottleneck for their workflows, and enabling them to accomplish their goals. We believe that the next steps of our mission are to leverage AI to make these workflows radically simpler, more automated, and accessible to even more users throughout a business.
Many AI companies focusing on data and analytics are tackling generic problems, such as text-to-SQL and data science, versus trying for a more specialized or verticalized opportunity. Hightouch is instead solely focused on tackling customer and marketing data . While this is still a massive and broad market, this focus enables us to really build a product that's truly tailored for our customer base. Additionally, we believe we'll be able to leverage huge portions of our existing product, including our semantic later for data, optimized querying engine for data warehouses, and suite of analytics tooling.
Your mission will be to drive our AI vision forward by playing a mix of roles between engineering and product management. We're looking for folks who are able to have direct conversations with customers, and then leverage that feedback to build and ship great products. How to build an AI native product is still a new domain, and we want people who are excited to play many different roles in defining what it means to build a great AI product.

- Foundational engineering: We're looking for builders with a broad background in backend engineering, not just AI / ML experience.
- Customer empathy: We believe the foundation for building great products is the ability to live alongside customers, develop relationships, and understand their goals + pain points.
- Hunger and speed: Moving fast is deeply ingrained in our company culture, and we believe hunger + speed are the the backbone of what it takes to win.
- AI / ML background: Absolutely not required (please apply if you're new to the space), but it's great if you have it!
