As a Software Engineer, you'll play a vital role in crafting and enhancing our RAVE In-flight Entertainment (IFE) software lineup. You'll dive into exciting projects including Web Services Development, Web App Development and Full Stack development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dive into the design and creation of software features using cool technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and maybe even dip your toes into Qt
• Join forces with our DevOps team to amp up our CI/CD pipelines, getting cozy with tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Get hands-on with software containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, learning the ropes of deployment in the cloud
• Master the art of testing with frameworks like Jest, and explore security scanning tools to keep our software fortress strong
• Roll up your sleeves when it comes to troubleshooting, debugging, and fine-tuning software performance
• Team up with business analysts and project managers to turn customer dreams into software realities
• Embrace the Agile way of life, contributing your fresh ideas and energy to our team processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or related field
• No need for years of experience, but a passion for coding and a hunger to learn are must-haves
• Excited about JavaScript, HTML5, NodeJS, TypeScript, and React? You're in the right place. Bonus points if you've dabbled in Qt.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and an interest in security scanning tools will give you a head start
• Knowledge of GraphQL and Swagger for API development is a plus
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial
• If you've ever had a peek into the world of In-flight Entertainment (IFE) or similar industries, that's awesome, but not a deal-breaker
