Job Description:
Are you passionate about quality? You will be responsible for validating and verifying that our software delivery requirements are met successfully. In this role, you will assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You should have a keen eye for detail, an investigative mind, and excellent writing/communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems meet or exceed requirements.
Responsibilities:
- As a Program/Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, resiliency, redundancy, and functionality of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Create/deploy/maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development and testing processes. Establish a human readable summary of test results.(dashboard).
- Create a test automation framework using test scripts you have written in Python,JAVA/C++/Jenkins/BASH or similar toolset.
- Write and communicate concise functional requirements from customer operational requirements.
- Create and maintain test related documentation (plan, procedures, report, etc.).
- Testing and validating analytic pipelines for processing large-scale datasets, and multiple platforms, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Write, track, review, and verify resolution of defects (using JIRA, Gitlab, or similar toolset.)
- Ability to effectively communicate testing status & testing strategies to technical leads, software developers, program managers, and customers
- Utilize Gitlab, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform (or similar toolset) for efficient deployment and infrastructure management.
- Actively collaborate on program design and usage decisions,
- Experience testing software applications, writing test scripts, using Python, JAVA/C++, or similar tool.
- Experience developing use cases and test frameworks.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery of Software Applications and Development.
- Experience using Linux and/or Windows system administration to set up development environments.
- Enthusiasm to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A U.S. citizen holding a security clearance or has the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience identifying and address vulnerability security and resiliency concerns.
- Familiarity with test hardware selection and procurement.
- Understanding of fundamental secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of fundamental networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
