Clinician will provide psychotherapy for the elderly population, focusing on addressing mental health concerns specific to this population such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and adjustment to life changes. Clinician will complete comprehensive psychotherapy assessments, conduct individual, group and/or family psychotherapy. Crisis assessments are to be performed as well, to assess for risk of harmful intent/behaviors. Clinician will create a care plan and set goals that align with the client’s mental health needs. Interventions and outcomes will be properly and clearly documented, while working toward individual goals of each client. This role involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals as appropriate, and coordination with caregivers and family as needed to improve client outcomes, while respecting and upholding the HIPAA guidelines. Clinician will advocate in the best interest of the client, and make ongoing assessments, adjusting the care plan as needed for improved client outcomes. Therapy will take place within the client’s assisted living residence. Other duties may include, but are not limited to, educating caregivers in using positive interventions to support a client's well-being, participation in staff meetings and professional educational sessions. Servicing the following areas: Oakland, Macomb, Genesee, Livingston, Lapeer, Saginaw, Clinton, and Kent Counties.
Candidate must be willing to have a delayed start date, pending credentialing.

Fully Licensed (LMSW/LCSW)
Limited Licensed (LLMSW)
Experience
Some individual, group and family therapy experience preferred. Limited Licensed accepted, with goal of actively working toward full licensure.
Salary Range: $25 to $55 per Billable Hour
