Job Title: Social Worker/ LMSW
Pay: $50K-$70K based on experience PLUS benefits
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Some evening or weekend hours will be required based on program needs.
Location: Southgate, MI
Responsibilities:
· Primary responsibility is to participate in the delivery of clinical services, including intake evaluations, substance abuse screenings, assessments, and direct treatment for children, adolescents and families.
· Conduct Intake Assessments, including all necessary opening paperwork (Psychosocial Assessment, financial and demographic forms, etc.)
· Gather and integrate information from all available sources, including client self-reports, reports from family members, guardian(s) and probation officer, documented medical, treatment history, etc.;
· Assist with the development of comprehensive Person-Centered Treatment Planning with consumers and other members of the treatment team (consistent with Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment and all other clinical assessments);
· Provide face-to-face clinical interventions, in the office, to each assigned consumer at least monthly.
· Provide individual, family and group therapy.
· Conduct crisis planning with client.
· Provide parent education, coaching and training.
· Provide referrals for services and community resources as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure. Candidates without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire.
· Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire.
· Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
· Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders.
