Looking for a passionate, patient and professional SW to provide therapeutic services for children (birth through 18) with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, developmental disabilities and disorders of relating and communicating in a family-centered environment. Services are delivered in clinic-based and natural environments. Looking for a SW that is eager to provide direct services to children and families in Cook and Lake counties, as well as facilitate social groups and dyads. Experience with ASD population preferred as well as experience with a wide range of treatment strategies. Good communication skills, comfort in administering assessments and note taking, writing evaluations, providing feedback to families and school staff are responsibilities for this role. Experience in understanding sensory profiles and strategies also preferred. Crisis intervention training a plus.
Social Work Requirements:
Degree requirements: A Masters of Social Work from an accredited institution
LSW or LCSW
Strong knowledge of child development
2+ years of experience
Driver's license and personal vehicle with proof of insurance
