Social Worker - Cardiac Rehab

Job Summary

Reporting to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, the Social Worker’s role is to help the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team, the participants, spouses, and significant others to integrate the educational/exercise component of heart disease with a support process that includes attention to the emotional/family/vocational/stress management components.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • None specified
• Experience
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Experience in counseling patients required
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • LICSW preferred LCSW required
  • BLS Healthcare provider required
• Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
