Ghost Robot is currently reviewing applications for a Social Content Producer position. This is a contract role to start, with the potential to become a staff position.

As a Social Content Producer at Ghost Robot you will be responsible for managing the execution of complex projects from discovery through delivery, including but not limited to project estimate, project scheduling, resourcing, budget management, managing team workflow, risk mitigation and both Creator and Client relationship building and maintenance as well as a thorough knowledge of best practices for new and developing social networks (including tagging, titling, linking, and keyword optimization).

The Producer is an experienced and adaptable individual who can direct various sized teams and partner with internal and external production partners. The Producer will be extremely detail-oriented and be accountable for all aspects of their projects, while being aware of the strategic and creative objectives.

In addition to the fundamental producer skills listed below, being on the Production team requires solid critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as a passion for guiding creative ideas from brief through project launch. The ideal candidate for this position will have an ambition for work that pushes creative and technological limits and experience in delivering a variety of integrated projects completed on time, within budget and to the highest level of creative standards, all while fostering and maintaining strong collaborations with both Creators and Clients. You will be a key player in bringing our projects to life and giving our Clients a reason to come back and do it again.

Salary Range: Contract position to start, based on a $75-$90K annual salary

The listed pay range represents the lowest to the highest range that we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, local currency exchange rates, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, applicable law, and business or organizational needs.

Day-to-day Responsibilities include:

General Content Production Oversight, Project Planning and Execution:

  • Independently manage and deliver multiple complex projects for various types of productions.
  • Responsible for excellence in all day-to-day aspects of production and post-production.
  • Ability to be creative in execution/budgetary approach.
  • Act as the leader and communication hub for all communications with internal and external partners, and help the team prioritize as circumstances change.
  • Clear understanding of budgeting software (including ShowBiz Budgeting) and management of budgets.
  • Solutions-oriented and collaborative with the ability to communicate clearly and proactively with clients, internal departments, and agency/studio leaders.
  • Ensure error free, on time and on/under budget productions all while meeting or exceeding creative objectives and expectations.
  • Proactively identify and propose/implement solutions to any potential project challenges
  • Management of changes to your project and ability to efficiently revise timeline, team priorities and estimates as needed.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining critical relationships as well as agency's reputation and standard of excellence with the internal and external production industry.
  • Negotiate contracts and competitive rates with vendors, to both ensure projects deliver on/under budget and within schedule constraints while managing relationships to ensure quality of work.
  • Possessing a complete understanding of contractual agreements between agency, vendors and creator talent. Negotiate and manage talent and vendor contracts.
  • Overseeing on-set production when applicable, and interaction between agency/studio and client teams.
  • Managing post-production schedules and timely delivery of all final assets (with clear tracking all assets for delivery to the client).
  • Working closely with creative team ensure that the final product is aligned with project goals and expectations.
  • Set the tone for a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Creator Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with a diverse portfolio of content creators, including influencers, YouTubers, streamers, and other digital Content Producers.
  • Collaborating closely with creators to understand their unique styles, preferences, and audience dynamics.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between the company and content creators, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Contract negotiation and tracking/management of all deliverables.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content produced by creators, using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and success.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to measure the impact of creator content on key performance indicators.
  • Iterate on content strategies based on performance data to maximize engagement and reach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years social/content producing for a creative studio or Agency.
  • Proven experience in content production and management, with a focus on working with digital content creators.
  • Deep understanding of current trends in digital content, social media, and online platforms.
  • Familiarity with various content formats, including video, live streaming, and social media content.
  • Strong project management skills, with extensive experience in managing budgets, timelines, and external vendors for projects across video, print and digital content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be prompt, positive, and responsible. Ability to demand respect from clients, and other key stakeholders within the organization, while maintaining a desire to remain close to the work. Willingness to execute the work, along with manage.
  • Strategic problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Knowledge and understanding of production techniques and equipment, including photography and video equipment, and post-production processes and software.
  • Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines related to advertising and content production.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, boasting an attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to pivot and adjust quickly in the face of creative changes, production limitations, or schedule adjustments. Creativity and innovative problem solving skills required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent organization and time management: able to prioritize a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project needs.
  • Maintain a positive can-do attitude and passion for excellence even in high-pressure situations.
