SalaryNew York Cruise Lines is looking for a savvy content creator with a passion for storytelling, entertainment, food and all things New York City, who is eager to produce content for the ongoing Social Media evolution and growth of Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, the BEAST, North River Lobster Company and La Barca Cantina.
Reporting to the Sr. Social Media Manager, the Content Producer will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and managing captivating video content, for various Social Media platforms to elevate brand visibility, engagement, and achieve business objectives. This position is responsible for maintaining each brand’s style and voice across all social platforms.
This role requires exceptional written and verbal communications skills; a solid understanding of digital marketing and Social Media tools and techniques; The ideal candidate is an outgoing, proactive and creative thinker, who is constantly in-the-know when it comes to social video trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Youtube. They have experience creating vertical video content and using Social Media publishing platforms, design software like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva, and Google Analytics.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging video content for Social Media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to brainstorm, storyboard, shoot, and edit video content that resonates with our target audience and supports marketing initiatives, events, and promotions.
- Stay updated on video trends, technologies, and Social Media platform updates to implement innovative strategies for maximum impact and audience engagement.
- Manage the end-to-end video production process, including scripting, filming, editing, and post-production tasks while ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Analyze video performance metrics and audience engagement data to optimize content strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Preference to candidates deeply familiar and passionate with New York City, local culture, entertainment or hospitality
- Proven experience in video production, preferably in a Social Media or digital marketing context, with a strong portfolio highlighting successful video campaigns and content creation.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Knowledge of current video trends, Social Media algorithms, and best practices for each platform.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
