SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGER
Are you a creative? Love curating creative content? We are looking for a talented Social Media manager to administer our Social Media accounts across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, responding to followers and overseeing a company's interactions with the public by implementing Social Media platforms' content strategies. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social media Marketing Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and Social Media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our Social Media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement, analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build community online.
This is a full-time hybrid position, and the role is for 40 hours a week earning $40,000-$50,000k/annually DOE.
Your responsibilities:
- Brand Development
- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
- Identify Target Demographic
- Set Clear Objectives
- High-Level Content Creation
- Content Strategy
- Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content (ie: employee training, recognition and rewards for participation in the company's marketing and online review building)
- Develop promotion strategies
- Develop engagement strategies
- Convert audience into clients
- Manage multiple Social Media platforms
- Promote content through social advertising
- Measure and analyze content data and performance to establish ROI
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Occasional travel required for content retrieval (ie: recruiting events, company events, etc.)
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Forward thinking
- Can successfully manage multiple Social Media platforms
- Capable of creative direction
- Videography experience
- Branding experience
- Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
- Demonstrates successful creativity and documented immersion in across multiple Social Media platforms (ie: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Knowledgable in content marketing theory and application
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format
- Practices superior time management
- Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
- Demonstrates Social Client Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution
- Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
- Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience and high-level portfolio
- Must be able to provide creative portfolio and Social Media works/content
