We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing Social Media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive business objectives. You will oversee all aspects of our Social Media presence across various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding while staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media marketing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Social Media analytics, excellent communication skills, understanding of the transgender and gender-non-conforming community, and a passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive organic Social Media strategies aligned with company goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Plan and execute Social Media campaigns to promote products, events, or initiatives.
- Ensure inclusivity and sensitivity in campaigns, particularly towards the TGNC community. Ensure campaigns are accessible to a broad range of experiences.
Responsibilities: Content Management
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and shareable content across platforms.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and graphic agency to create visually appealing and on-brand content.
- Oversee day-to-day execution of Social Media content by scheduling posts.
- Monitor and optimize posting times for maximum reach and engagement.
- Integrate Social Media into broader marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities: Community Engagement and Analytics
- Monitor Social Media channels for brand mentions and relevant conversations.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Cultivate positive relationships with the online community.
- Track key Social Media metrics, analyze performance reports, and provide insights for improvement.
- Provide weekly insights and recommendations to enhance Social Media effectiveness.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the following Key Process Indicators (KPIs)
- Follower Growth: Increase in the number of followers across Social Media platforms over time.
- Engagement Rate: Measure the level of interaction (likes, comments, shares, etc.) per post relative to the total number of followers.
- Reach: Measure the total number of people who have seen the content posted by the Social Media Manager.
- Click-Through Rate (CTR): Measure the percentage of users who click on a link or call-to-action in a Social Media post.
- Customer Sentiment: Monitor and analyze comments, mentions, and messages to gauge overall sentiment towards the brand or organization.
- Content Performance: Evaluate the performance of individual posts or content types to identify what resonates best with the audience.
- Response Time: Measure the average time it takes for the Social Media Manager to respond to inquiries or comments.
- Social media referral traffic: Measure the effectiveness of Social Media campaigns in achieving specific goals (e.g., product promotion, event attendance, etc.).
Qualifications
- At least three years of proven experience as an effective Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms, trends, and best practices, specifically Instagram, TikTok, Reddit and Threads.
- Experience working with Product teams to determine data sources and operations for data collection and visualization.
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights to improve strategy.
- Strong project management skills, leading with and holding oneself and others accountable to clear goals, deadlines, and cross-functional accountabilities.
- Strong creative skills with an eye for visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in growing and engaging Social Media audiences. Healthcare industry and/or member subscription industry is a plus.
