The Social Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all Social Media campaigns for assigned clients. This role will manage clients’ Social Media presence, enhance client brands, and build strong online communities across a variety of Social Media platforms. The Social Media Manager will provide strategy recommendations, execute and oversee creative strategy, as well as plan and write content. This role is required to stay up to date on the latest trends, manage platform algorithm changes, understand best practices, and analyze campaign performance to maximize engagement and ROI.

Essential Functions

- Work closely with the assigned account circle team to understand current and prospective client Social Media needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop and manage content calendars for all assigned clients to ensure a consistent cadence of Social Media content in association with Social Media best practices.
- Work closely with account teams to create, edit, and publish content across Social Media platforms that builds meaningful connections, drives engagement, and is in line with client branding.
- Responsible for community management and monitoring of clients’ Social Media accounts and campaigns, including offering constructive interaction with users.
- Utilize social listening tools, Social Media management platforms, and platform analytics to report campaign(s) performance and delivery on business objectives at various intervals including weekly, monthly,
- and upon campaign completion. When needed, provide recommendations to implement any necessary strategy changes to ensure campaign success.
- Develop and execute onsite Social Media plans to promote clients’ live events. Coverage to include before, live updates during, and after event/campaign.
- Recommend and execute experiential activities and events to generate social shares and engage Social Media influencers to drive engagement before, during, and after the event.
- Identify, vet, and manage influencer campaigns on behalf of clients to extend and amplify client messages.
- Consult with the Communications Department on industry best practices to ensure all strategies, recommendations, and content developed align with emerging trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of experience in Social Media: community management, content development, scheduling, monitoring and reporting
- Knowledge of primary Social Media platform posting requirements and limitations is required (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and X)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Ability to occasionally attend client events
- Ability to design Social Media creative (including video)
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under time constraints and deadlines
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to explain complex Social Media data in an understandable way
- Ability to effectively perform both the creative and analytical sides of Social Media
- Ability to think strategically and work on multiple client projects simultaneously
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be organized and able to prioritize
