Note: We are considering candidates in both the Washington, D.C. and NYC area. This position is hybrid (minimum 2 days in office per week).
You will:

  • Attend in-person meetings and events to capture content and/or provide real-time coverage whenever necessary
  • Manage day-to-day communications with client- and client-adjacent representatives
  • Manage/oversee reporting of paid and organic Social Media efforts for all assigned clients
  • Provide copywriting and graphic design direction to fellow teammates
  • Work with teammates and interns to ensure accounts are actively monitored
  • Work with the Sr. Social Media Senior Director to maximize client retention and overall department success

Need to Have:

  • Experience working with Sprout, Meta, Meta Ads Manager, and other performance-related software
  • A deep understanding of how to best leverage major Social Media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook
  • An ability to create short-form copy that is compelling, educational, and technically sound
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • A keen eye for Social Media visuals with experience designing or directing graphic designers (yes, Canva counts!)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications or Marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously at a high standard in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Social Media trends, sharing new tactics and ideas with clients and internal teams
  • Availability to attend all on-site meetings, photoshoots, events, etc.
  • Availability to work in-office two days a weeks

Nice to Have:
  • Agency experience
  • Experience working with high-growth startups and brand launches
  • Management experience is a huge plus!
