SalaryWings Over has an exciting opportunity for highly motivated students to work directly with our Social Media Manager as a paid intern. Have fun creating out-of-the-box content while gaining insight into planning, developing, and implementing strategies across our Social Media platforms.
What you will do:
- Assist in the creation and execution of Social Media content across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to contribute fresh ideas for Social Media campaigns
- Assist in the development of a Social Media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align Social Media efforts with overall marketing strategies
- Analyze Social Media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and provide insights for improvement
Qualifications:
- To qualify, you must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a 4 year accredited college or university
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- If seeking college credit, must be available to work 180 hours within the semester to meet college credit eligibility
- Strong understanding of major Social Media platforms and their best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Ability to travel to store locations in Upper Arlington, OH and Worthington, OH
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is a bonus
