What is my role?
The Social Media Coordinator will manage all organic social platforms, creating original content and drive new strategies to max to maximize engagement, followers that translate to traffic & conversions. This role will report to Creative Director and work closely with E-commerce Manager to support digital brand initiatives including seasonal collection launches, promotions, influencer programs, paid campaigns and finding creative ways to tie the brand’s identity into the social environment. The ideal candidate will have fashion industry experience and/or knowledge, know how to speak to apparel information and details, while being highly creative and tech-savvy and have successfully managed and grown social channels.
What You’ll Do
- Execute overall Social Media strategy and daily operations for multiple platforms that effectively drives growth and amplifies Junk Food brand awareness.
- Manage content assets and calendar, aligning with digital campaigns and promotions.
- Contribute ideas, insights and assets for paid social campaigns.
- Create and curate content and ongoing content strategies, writing copy for all posts.
- Research and manage influencer partnerships and product seeding.
- Attend seasonal product photo shoots with planned ideas to capture and create content.
- Build and engage with the community, responding to comments, DMs and inquiries.
- Provide performance analysis and reporting for all social channels and campaigns.
- Maintain a consistent voice, look and feel for the brand across all channels by understanding our brand identity while also bringing your own creativity and point of view.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to properly communicate and highlight details in social content and copy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, Social Media best practices and popular news.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in Social Media — fashion and/or e-commerce preferredIn-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and X.
- Passion for creating content and content strategies that tie into current social trends.
- Proficiency in graphic design, video editing and knowledge of photography a plus.
- Program Experience:
- Adobe suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom.
- Canva (not required)
- Shopify
- Sprout Social
- Meta Business Suite
- Exceptional copywriting, communication and customer service skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
