Social Media Coordinator – Knoxville Taproom

Yee-Haw Brewing Company is hiring a Social Media Coordinator for our Knoxville Taproom. The position is a part-time role (approx. 15-20 hours per week) and reports to the General Manager of the Knoxville property. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating appealing and creative digital content for the Knoxville campus through the utilization of various Social Media platforms. This candidate will work closely with the Corporate Marketing Manager and the Director of Marketing to promote customer engagement and brand awareness.

Founded in 2015, Yee-Haw Brewing Company began brewing craft beer in a historic railroad depot built in the late 1800’s in Johnson City, Tennessee. Yee-Haw Brewing Company quickly grew from a startup to one of the Southeast’s fastest growing craft breweries. Yee-Haw’s reputation for high quality ales and lagers is built on our commitment to using only the finest ingredients. Our taprooms provide a welcoming gathering place in our communities, and in 2023 Yee-Haw expanded its footprint with Knoxville opening in January 2023. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Account Management

· Manage all Social Media accounts for Yee-Haw Knoxville to include supervising content generation, communication of all social channels, monitoring and measuring content and responding to comments and messages.

· Create consistent, meaningful content on all Social Media platforms, including writing and editingSocial Media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting Social Media campaigns.

· Manage a high volume of daily Social Media posts and comment responses.

· Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Later and Meta to monitor and evaluate performance and recommend any changes or optimization.

· Prepare monthly reports on Social Media marketing efforts.

· Collaborate with General Manager and Marketing team to ensure all details are accounted for.

Community Engagement

· Communicate with Social Media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.

· Develop and manage social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.

· Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in Social Media.

Asset Development

· Manage framework and align brand standards cohesively across all Yee-Haw Social Media channels.

· Developing Social Media content consistent with the Yee-Haw brand identity.

· Build photo gallery and video library to have assets available for variety of communication needs

· Assist with creating and printing promotional posters, napkin inserts, taproom signage, etc.

Qualifications:

The Yee-Haw Knoxville Social Media Coordinator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:

· 3 or more years of Social Media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.

· Proficiency in Graphic design

· Experience using analytics software

Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to accurately proofread and edit one’s own copy.

· Must have a thorough understanding of Social Media management and strategy

· Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks.

· Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

· Proficiency in photography and video composition

· Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Computer Skills:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite.

· Proficiency in Canva.

· Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta and Later)
