The Junior Activities Manager has the responsibility of cultivating a comprehensive junior clinic program catering to children aged four to ten years old. This program incorporates a variety of activities such a sports, arts and crafts, and fun games. On average, 80 children participate in the program every week, which spans over nine weeks. In addition to developing the program, the J.A Manager leads a team of 18 counselors
Job Requirements
Status: Seasonal, Full-time, Exempt
Responsibility: Minimal supervision needed. Low level of tactical decision-making
Reports to: Director of Club Operations
Supervises: J.A. Counselors and J.A. Assistant Manager
Effort: High - Walk and stand for extended periods of time. Activities will often
involve running, jumping, and/or swimming. Bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and
carry up to 75 pounds.
Work Conditions: Level 3 - Half of the work is performed indoors, half outdoors,
half of the work is performed in an air-conditioned environment. Variable
schedule based on business demands; some duties require working with hazards
COMPENSATION
Bi-Weekly Salary: $2,800
Sick Time: Accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

Duties:
Hire, train, supervise, and schedule J.A. counselors
Plan, monitor, and supervise activities
Create and communicate a Junior Activities Calendar
Oversee all J.A. activities
Prepare and submit weekly billing
Work with member volunteers to ensure the quality of
programming is appropriate and within the traditions of
Wianno Club
Approves bi-weekly payroll
Communicates upcoming events with membership
Collects documents regarding immunizations, allergies, etc.
Other duties as assigned
