SalaryNew Hope Mills is located in Auburn, NY, and is home to well-known pancake mixes and our growing Store and Café. We're looking for a hardworking, reliable, creative person who has strong attention to detail. We are celebrating turning 200 years old in 2023. We are looking to share our stories and need an energetic and talented person to help us do that.
Position Summary
- Strategically post brand-relevant content and reply to comments on all NHM Social Media accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube)
- Launch and maintain company video podcast
- Write copy for product descriptions, Social Media posts, marketing collateral, and long and short product/brand story videos
- Must be able to shoot and edit quality photos, video, and audio content
- Write press releases and distribute them to appropriate channels
- Facilitate public relations activities, contests, sweepstakes, coupons, or giveaways
- Assist with on-site events in the café, as well as off-site events on a consistent basis
Required Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in an office environment.
- Ability to perform problem-solving and use deductive reasoning.
- Maintain the integrity of highly sensitive/confidential information.
- Perform tasks that will result in contact with some food allergens. (Company will advise)
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values, policies, and procedures.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work well with colleagues & customers in a professional & organized manner.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Effective project management skills and sound understanding of marketing principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and other production-oriented design solutions
- Passage of mandatory new hire drug test.
