Job Description:

Position: Part-Time/Contract Social Media Content Creator
Location: In Person/Hybrid
Industry: Cycling

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and visually appealing images and videos to review products from top suppliers in the cycling industry.
• Research and understand the features and benefits of various cycling products including bikes, apparel, GPS computers, nutrition, and more.
• Develop compelling content that highlights the unique selling points of each product and communicates their value to our audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content across all Social Media platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cycling and Social Media marketing to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
• Monitor Social Media channels for user engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Optimize content for search engines and implement best practices for Social Media visibility and engagement.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all content channels.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, preferably in the cycling industry.
• A passion for cycling and a deep understanding of cycling products and accessories.
• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to create high-quality images and videos using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Social Media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive content strategy.
• Familiarity with Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work part-time hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with influencers or brand ambassadors in the cycling industry.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with content optimization.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding of online sales processes.
• A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content campaigns.
• Graphic design or photography skills are a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
