Featherstone Outdoor is looking for a Social MediaContent Creator who is passionate about Social Media, design, and lifestyle. We are looking a talented, innovative, self-motivated Social MediaContent Creator who can make their own original content, photography, video, and graphic design to drive brand engagement, awareness, and revenue through our Social Media platforms.
This position includes managing our social channels with regular posting, engaging through commenting/likes & DM’s, and setting up calls with brand ambassadors or influencers. You must have an eye for aesthetics and design and up to date with lifestyle trends. The Social MediaContent Creator must know how to use a professional DSLR or mirrorless camera and is experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & Premier.
Responsibilities
· Manage all social channels Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Reddit from content creation to posting
· Work daily to create original content such as photos, video reels, and brand stories to be used for our social channels
· Create content calendars using Google Spreadsheets
· Communicate with influencers or ambassadors on collaborative content creation
· Brainstorm content concepts that align with the marketing objectives and brand image
· Design marketing material such as stickers, flyers, brochures, and creative assets for the website and email
· Develop a Social Media strategy and analyze key industry insights and viral trends
· Organize media days to shoot content out in the field
· Be the face on Social Media to answer any questions or make announcements and build connection with followers
Requirements
· Must have experience working in a creative environment creating content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, Youtube
· Must have experience with photography and editing using Adobe software
· Passion for storytelling, Social Media, outdoor recreation, and backpacking
· Strong communication skills
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Must have a strong interest in Social Media
· Is a quick learner, self-motivating, and has the ability to self-manage
· Must be comfortable with being on camera and posting content on Social Media
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
