We are living through a pivotal moment for reproductive and sexual health-and Hey Jane is uniquely positioned to help. We're looking for a brilliant Social Media and Community Manager who can spread awareness and tell the Hey Jane story-with an eye towards the future as we continue to innovate and expand our services. Think: A natural storyteller who is fluent in memes, passionate about creating welcoming virtual spaces, and adept at being able to report back on it all-with a knack for making impactful, educational, and extremely viral content in a fast-paced startup setting. 

• An excellent and enthusiastic communicator with 4+ years experience of creating engaging content and establishing virtual communities for a brand or organization
• Someone with a proven track record of identifying and leveraging what makes different Social Media platforms tick: trends, hashtags, functionalities, best practices, partnerships, and platform updates
• Experienced in following brand and/or messaging guidelines, managing an editorial calendar, and developing and running an influencer program
• Results driven with an openness to receiving feedbackIndependent but reliable when it comes to hitting deadlines and juggling multiple projects
• An adaptable learner who thrives in a quickly moving startup/breaking news environment
• Passionate about reproductive and sexual health care-including abortion care-and excited to join a growing team that is changing the face of health care as we know it!

• Work directly with Hey Jane's Head of Brand Marketing to develop our overarching owned Social Media strategy aligned to growth goals and business needs
• Ideate, develop, design, and create thumb-stopping content about reproductive and sexual health care, current events, industry trends, and more in order to help attract, engage, and grow our audience across Social Media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Build out an influencer program, manage our influencers and contracted content creators, and ensure that their content is aligned with our brand messaging, identity, and aesthetics
• Manage, track, and report weekly and monthly performance for all social channels-and be able to identify ways we can quickly pivot and improve as needed
• Embody the voice of Hey Jane and respond to messages and comments, as well as actively engage with other accounts across all platforms
• Keep up with the latest Social Media trends (news, memes, celebrities, music, etc.) and partners (whether it's influencers, creators, or other organizations) and find brand-right ways to incorporate them into our content
• Collaborate with the marketing team and other cross-functional partners at Hey Jane
• Be a thoughtful, visionary storyteller around reproductive and sexual health care-including abortion care-during this pivotal moment
