Seacrest Services, Inc, a leading management company in South Florida, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Director to join our team. Since 1975, we have been providing top-tier management and maintenance services to Community Associations. As a Social Director, you will play a pivotal role in planning and organizing a variety of social events, managing the clubhouse activity calendar, and acting as a liaison between various committees and performers. Responsibilities- Plan and organize Association entertainment calendar, including theme parties, holiday celebrations, movies, card games, Bingo, Trivia, Community cook outs etc.
- Manage clubhouse activity calendar, coordinating all Association, club/organization meetings and room usage.
- Act as a liaison between the Social Activities Committee and performers' agents, negotiating terms and contracts for entertainers, caterers, decorations, and vendors.
- Administer show season ticket sales and assign seating in accordance with seating policies.
- Manage all aspects of special events, games, and entertainment to encourage participation.
- Supervise operational and technical requirements related to clubhouse activities.
- Manage in-house television channel to include all events.
- Participate on Committees as requested by the Board and offer assistance as needed.
- Create and maintain Social Director Article and function as Editor for monthly Community magazine.
- Serve as Host and Stage Manager for shows and events.
- Order necessary supplies and manage funds and deposits for all social functions.
- Take photographs of Community events, parties, and other special occasions.
- Submit and maintain a Social Activities budget, meeting both monthly and yearly expectations as established by the Board of Directors.
- Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
- Broad knowledge of community events and extracurricular activities.
- Good understanding of managing a budget.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Working knowledge of audio and video programs, as well as related computer skills.
