SUMMARY
Responsible for providing food and beverage service to club members and guests of Glen Eagle Country Club.
HOURS/DAYS
Hours and days fluctuate according to the wants and needs of the members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Sets up service area and kitchen
2.Knowledge of service procedures and timing.
3.Knowledge of menu items.
4.Provides immediate attention to all members and guests.
5.Describes any specials of the day to members and guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item. Offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
6.Takes food and beverage order for members and guests.
7.Complies with all laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
8.Produces food items in a safe and timely manner, following all standards set forth
9.Able to mix cocktails.
10.Has knowledge to input orders into Jonas computer system.
11.Follows up with members and guests to ensure satisfaction. Replenish items as needed.
12.Communicate with kitchen staff on food needs before you run out of items.
13.Charges the bill to members account.
14.Keeps Divot clean, well-stocked and organized.
15.Advises Department Leaders of any complaints.
16.Performs clean-up, closing duties and closing of shift

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have food and beverage experience. Excellent communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and customer service oriented.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Physical activities required daily will consist of standing and walking for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30 – 50 pounds. Must be able to work long hours during the season.

The work environment will entail all food and beverage outlets. While performing the duties of this job, the associate occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position pays $14.00 per hour plus tips.
