Site Manager (Remote)

Functioning independently, the Site Manager plans, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure the goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame by performing the duties personally. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Site Manager will perform the following essential functions:
• Perform liaison activities with Management
• Assist with recruiting, hiring of employees, counseling, and termination
• Delegate and coordinate duties of staff per guidance given by KBR, Small Business Manager
• Conduct and/or participate in customer and staff meetings
• As per contract create, maintain, and provide reports
• As per contract provide assistance, support, and make recommendations
• Assist in the development and refinement of the existing procedures, plans and processes
• Maintains personnel accountability records to ensure correct and timely reporting
• Maintains continuity among project management and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Assist employees with accurate and timely Timekeeping
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met
• Exits employees from project
• Provide warehouse management expertise
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
This position is permitted the flexibility to work remotely with the ability to be on call for meetings with contractor personnel on-base as required.
Required Skills and Experience
• Degree in Business, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering or other relevant principles
• Six years related experience in and/or equal combination of education, training, and experience
• Knowledge of Navy supply, logistics, and/or maintenance
• High level of customer service skills
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet established deadlines
• Ability to work independently, conduct research, and problem solve
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to handle personnel matters with tact, appropriate discretion, and confidentiality
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Screening
• Ability to obtain and maintain CAC
• Ability to gain base access
