Papa Bear Car Wash is a locally owned and operated business in Upstate SC. We have 4 locations Anderson 1, Anderson 2, Easley & Greenville. Papa Bear Assistant Site General Manager responsibilities include:
- Complete understanding of our Papa Bear Mission Statement: To challenge, disrupt and redefine all industry norms one car wash at a time, every time.
- Live our values while on-site or anywhere in uniform.
- Present, promote and sell Bear Club memberships with knowledge of chemical applications and Papa Bear wash packages with current and/or prospective customers at the pay stations or in the office.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships onsite and off.
- Help increase car counts by providing unmatched customer service to every customer by carrying energy and motivation with other Papa Bear employees consistently with a sense of urgency.
- Reduce down time between cars on busy days, slow days, rain days, etc.
- Maintain a CLEAN facility appearance on days and shifts managed, even if it means occasional early mornings or late evenings.
- Communicate effectively throughout the organization.
- Complete all safety and management training programs assigned.
- Monitor and control chemicals daily, including troubleshooting equipment as needed throughout your shift.
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance program according to the schedule on days / shifts managed.
- Maximize speed of processing vehicles at the wash through training and upholding standards of performance.
- Conduct equipment repairs proactively and troubleshoot problems quickly.
- Conduct initial and hourly tunnel / equipment room checks.
- Perform cleaning procedures of the tunnel and equipment daily / nightly cleaning sections.
- Keep personnel clean and uniforms neat in appearance.
- Be sure all employees are rotating in their positional hour positions while keeping the site in tip top shape.
- Continue to improve knowledge of equipment, industry and your team members.
- Ensure that all daily or weekly paperwork (delivery receipts / SLACK notifications / inventories) are completed accurately and submitted before due date.
- Help maintain the appearance of landscape between landscape visits.
- Assist or complete any additional assigned tasks by company leadership or Site General Manager.
Qualifications: Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Some management and maintenance experience is required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
