Silicon Electrical Engineer - Layout Analog/Mixed (Contract)

Summary:

The main function of a Silicon Electrical Engineer - Layout Analog/Mixed Signal is to create analog and digital layouts that meet power, performance, and area objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end layout with necessary quality and compliance checks.
• Work closely with circuit designer to understand, capture, and implement layout design constraints.
• Facilitate and participate in Layout Design Review Presentation.
• Translate schematics into analog and digital layouts that meet power, performance, and area objectives.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Detailed knowledge of EDA tools from Cadence, Mentor and Synopsys for custom layout, extraction, and quality checks.
• Use of Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre.
• Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
• Duration: 6 months
• Pay Range: $37 - 42 per hour
