Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in SATCOM satellite communications, power supply and EMI/EMC for hands-on troubleshooting and design role.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of five years of related work experience
Familiarity with Schematic Capture & PCB Layout tools (not looking for a PCB designer)
Knowledge of fundamental RF principles
Experience working with RF test equipment
Familiarity with Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, Frequency Counter, and 10 MHz reference generator
Familiarity with basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers etc.
Knowledge of the electronics manufacturing process
Hardware and system debugging/troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Active Steerable Electronic Array (AESA)
Responsibilities:
Designing, analyzing and testing analog and digital circuitry to support microwave communications electronics
Analyzing design requirements and selecting suitable electronic components
Performing circuit analysis using direct calculation or SPICE simulation tools
Performing system level electrical interconnect design (Electrical, RF, and data)
Documenting designs through schematics, block diagrams, and analysis documents
Reviewing and advising on PCB layouts developed by drafting department to engineering specs
Contributing to the technical planning, scheduling, and successful execution of small design projects
Communicating clearly with other design teams about requirements, design rationale, analysis of designs, and any issues
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
