Summary:

We are looking for Shop Assistant to help in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment at our Operations Center. Duties:
- Vehicle and equipment maintenance - entry level.
- Load and unload small and large equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is clean.
- Maintain a clean and organized Operations Center.
- Operate equipment at the Operations Center shop and on projects as needed.
- Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and plant material.
- Assist the shop personnel with various tasks, as assigned.
Role Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license in the state of Florida and a clean driving record.
- Minimum 6 months of experience and/or training in vehicle or construction equipment repair.
- Combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
- Experience in automotive and diesel engine service, and general maintenance of small engines and off-road machines is preferred.
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, loaders, ATVs, UTVs, and other vehicles is preferred.

- This position is performed in outside weather conditions, where the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- The employee will be frequently exposed to a variety of extreme weather and environmental conditions at project sites.

- See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift or move up to 75 pounds.
